CryptoBox Terms of Use
These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) are entered into between you (“you” or “User”) and the operator of CryptoBox (“we”, “us”, or “Operator”) and govern your use of our mobile application (the “App”). Please read this Agreement carefully. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the App.
This Agreement is between you and the Operator only. It is not an agreement with Apple Inc. (“Apple”) or Google LLC (“Google”). Neither Apple nor Google is responsible for the App or its content.
I. Service description
CryptoBox provides privacy-oriented tools for mobile devices, including without limitation: encryption and access control for selected apps and sensitive media, screen-time statistics and insights, rule-based triggers using time or location, and stealth or gesture-based responses to quickly leave sensitive views—helping you manage device use and data visibility across everyday scenarios.
II. Privacy
We take your privacy seriously and will protect your personal information in accordance with applicable laws. Except where required by law, necessary to perform our contract with you, or justified in the public interest, we will not sell your personal information or disclose it to unrelated third parties for their own commercial purposes. By using the App, you agree that we may collect, use, store, and disclose information as described in our Privacy Policy. Please refer to the in-app Privacy Policy for details.
III. Acceptable use
When using our services, you agree that you will not:
- Use the App for any activity that violates applicable laws, endangers national secrets or security, undermines national security, or harms national unity;
- Use the App to create or distribute illegal content involving politics, pornography, violence, incitement, ethnic hatred, or discrimination;
- Use the App to infringe others’ lawful rights or to create or distribute content that harms public order, security, or morals;
- Interfere with or disrupt our services or systems, including through attacks, viruses, or malware; or
- Attempt unauthorized access to the App, our systems, or others’ accounts or data.
If we reasonably believe you have violated the above, we may suspend or terminate your access and reserve the right to pursue remedies under applicable law.
IV. Disclaimer
4.1 We do not warrant that the services will meet every individual expectation or specific business need. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from your use of the App, including without limitation data loss or loss of anticipated profits. We may suspend or terminate all or part of the services at any time and may not be able to notify you in advance in every case.
V. Intellectual property
We own or control the intellectual property rights in the App. You must comply with applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly stated, nothing in this Agreement grants you a license or transfer of our intellectual property.
VI. Changes and termination
We may modify, update, or discontinue services as needed for operations and compliance, and may not always provide prior notice. We may revise this Agreement from time to time; you should review it periodically. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
